The average temperature in August is high 50's during the day and mid 40's in the evening. There's always a chance for some rain.

Dublin. It is Ireland's biggest airport and there are direct buses from the airport to Donegal town. For return flights, note that the bus takes approx. 3 hours, so be mindful of the journey time when booking return flights.

Our wedding doesn't have a strict dress-code; cocktail attire is encouraged, but we ultimately want our guests to have fun and wear whatever they find comfortable!

Ireland's currency is the Euro. Almost everywhere accepts card payment, including contactless, but please note that American Express is sometimes not accepted in smaller stores. If you visit Belfast or Derry, the currency is Sterling.

It is not recommended to book a flight departing from Dublin Airport or Shannon Airport before noon. The trip from Donegal to Dublin Airport will be +/- 3 Hours. Mid to late afternoon departures are highly recommended.
